A successful and entertaining visit from Caricature Artist Andy Meanock with thanks from member Ron who recommended the visit.
Andy did a very good job of explaining how he came to be doing this type of art work, that he always entertained his friends at school with cartoons of teachers, who sometimes kept his work of themselves,
After his work at college he set himself up doing live caricatures and has never looked back.
Although some members were sceptical about this type of art, many were converted by the end of a lively session, and having a go themselves with interesting results!
Andy sketched caricatures of several members, with amusement among the others, but everyone was impressed with his work, and may try their hand in the future!
