DJ is a dynamic individual who demostrated well to the group, he is not however a stand out the front and show.
He did close up groups to illustrate techniques like "dry-brushing"
DJ came around at each stage making individual suggestions on technique, colour and composition.
He lent us his equipment and paints etc, so we could achieve the right effect.
DJ said though although we were all painting the same subject it was good that we all had individual paintings at the end, and that it would be weird if you got 11 paintings all the same.
Margaret and Les had pre arranged and set out the canvases and the room ready
The session was full on and everyone worked hard to get a result, everyone managed under DJ's supervision o get an acceptable painting.
Although busy it was a lot of fun and "Messy" was a word used a lot, especially by those who were using acrylics for the first time.
